Job Summary

The Aircraft Cabin Interior Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft cabin interiors. This includes seats, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, carpets, overhead bins, and passenger service units, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and modify aircraft cabin interior components.
  • Perform seat maintenance, including recline mechanisms and safety equipment checks.
  • Repair cabin panels, overhead bins, partitions, and floor structures.
  • Install carpets, curtains, and interior decorative elements.
  • Perform maintenance on galley and lavatory components.
  • Inspect cabin interior components for damage, wear, or defects.
  • Carry out cabin retrofits and reconfiguration projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with aircraft interior certification and safety requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of cabin appearance, cleanliness, and safety.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aviation Maintenance, Aircraft Interiors, or a related field.
  • Experience in aircraft cabin maintenance, repair, or refurbishment.
  • Familiarity with aircraft cabin safety equipment and standards.
